(Yicai Global) Feb. 18 -- China's major mainland stock benchmarks have extended their climbs from yesterday with the ChiNext Price Index logging the most notable push by the closing bell.
The ChiNext, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, rose 1.15 percent to 2,170.95. The Shenzhen Component Index ended 0.58 percent up at 11,306.49. The Shanghai Composite Index finished 0.05 percent higher at 2,984.97.
