Chips Go Lower During Chinese Stock Markets' Weak Morning

(Yicai Global) Sept. 25 -- Chinese mainland stock markets fell before lunch with semiconductor shares leading the declines.

The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.57 percent to 2,968.25 at the lunch break. The Shenzhen Component edged down 1.17 percent to 9696.26. The ChiNext Price Index slid 0.98 percent to 1,678.

Semiconductor shares slumped 4.23 percent.
