(Yicai Global) Feb. 6 -- Dr. Cuiyutao Healthcare Co., which operates Chinese childcare application Ivybaby, has bagged tens of millions of dollars in its C+ financing, with funds coming exclusively from New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc.

The pair will also team up in education to expand the domestic market and develop science-backed products for parenting and schooling and to record progress, the healthcare firm said in a statement.

Ivybaby's creator Dr. Cui Yutao is a pediatrician. His app focuses on health management for young children and looks to provide users with a professional knowledge of childcare. The tool aims to achieve results-oriented learning by bringing family members, teachers and institutions into an education process that incorporates on- and offline schooling and deviates from a system where children are the sole participants.
