(Yicai Global) Dec. 8 -- China's state-owned carmaker Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. (GAC Group) [SHA:601238] will work with tech firm iFlytek [SHE:002230] to develop voice-operated dashboard products for vehicles.

iFlytek, based in China's central Anhui province, will assist GAC in developing intelligence vehicle terminal products and application platforms for the carmaker's vehicles in order to offer users a better driving experience.

The two sides will also build a corporate data platform based on artificial intelligence and Big Data technologies to provide data support for GAC Group's automobile sales business, including marketing strategy analysis and marketing evaluation.

Iflytek will also create intelligent service robots for the Guangzhou-based car manufacturer's sales stores to serve as reception- and sales-assistants.
