(Yicai Global) Sept. 11 -- Grow with Google has come to China, Stanley Chen, managing director of Alphabet's China unit, said yesterday in a speech to the Google Developer Days meeting in Shanghai, The Paper reported.

Mountain View, California-based Alphabet offers online courses to Chinese developers, students, teachers and companies via this initiative, with study tools and offline training. Anyone may now select development and marketing subjects of interest on the Grow with Google app on China's popular WeChat messaging and payment platform and receive their course for free.

Google's Udacity artificial intelligence robotic learning area also provides a set of TensorFlow courses free of charge. Google has also released the 'Wonderful China' augmented reality experiential app, which contains the collections of more than 30 Chinese museums. Google Developer Days runs yesterday and today in Shanghai. Its topics include the Android operating system, Flutter, internet, Firebase, TensorFlow, Google Cloud, Google Play Services for AR, and Google Arts & Culture.

TensorFlow is an open-source symbolic math library used for machine learning applications. Flutter is a Google-developed open-source mobile app development framework for Android, iOS and Google Fuchsia. Google Play Services for AR, previously called ARCore, is a software development kit that builds augmented reality apps. Google Arts & Culture is a platform with high-resolution images of artworks from partner museums.
