(Yicai Global) Sept. 11 – The manufacturing base of Zhejiang Haers Vacuum Containers Co. [SHE:002615] in Linan district, Hangzhou in eastern China's Zhejiang province has completed construction and has now come into operation.
It will greatly enhance the company's production capacity and boost annual sales revenue to an expected USD154.4 million (CNY1 billion).
Haers broke ground on its Lingan base in 2015. It lies in Qingshan Lake Science and Technology Park and covers an area of more than 100,000 square meters, but has an overall constructed area of around 130,000 square meters. Standardized plants, office buildings, dormitories and other facilities are now finished, China securities news portal www.cs.com.cn reported Sept. 9.
The base will generate an annual output of 8 million units of stainless steel high-end thermal mugs, three million units of smart thermal mugs and 12 million units of plastic cups, with annual sales revenue anticipated to reach USD154.4 million.
The company will upgrade to ultra-thin, ultra-light, lead-free and seamless new technology and new equipment applications to lead technological upgrade in the thermal bottle and pot sector and apply vacuum insulation technology to the field of kitchen utensils, creating a global brand in small vacuum appliances, said Lu Qiang, chairman of Haers, at the completion ceremony.
Haers is the most influential brand of stainless steel vacuum thermal insulation container in China, with more than 20 product series and over 200 varieties, and is used in home, office, catering and as gifts.
