(Yicai Global) Jan. 2 -- Guangzhou Haige Communications Group Co. [SHE:002465] recently received another military order worth CNY448 million (USD81.5 million), it said today.

Taken together with its previous orders, the communications equipment supplier has now chalked up CNY770 million worth of such orders from special institutional customers in the past two months.

The notice did not disclose the details of the details of the contract, saying only that it is mainly providing communications stations, satellite communications, China's domestically-developed Beidou Navigator system, and ancillary equipment.

The company has signed supply contracts with the military on many occasions since October, and these include China's first self-developed high-level flight simulator.

As the reform of the national military establishment gradually concludes, procurement by special institutional users has gone into gear. Haige Communications thus has great potential for tapping into the special institutional market in the next two to three years, it said.
