(Yicai Global) March 8 -- US manufacturing mammoth Honeywell International Inc. has formed a partnership with leading Chinese aviation firm HNA Group Co.'s cloud service platform to sell its supply chain management cloud products.
Tianjin Tianhai Investment Co., which runs the platform, HNA Cloud Market, signed a cooperative agreement with Honeywell's Chinese unit in Haikou, capital of southern Hainan province yesterday, Tianhai Investment said. It will provide operating services and sales channels for Honeywell's supply chain management cloud products to smooth the US firm's entry into the Chinese market. Tianhai Investment will also leverage Honeywell's industrial networking technologies to enhance the platform's competitiveness.
Formed in 1985, Honeywell is a world-leading high-end manufacturer with sophisticated technologies in aviation and aerospace, automation control and auto components. It has also developed its software, data and corporate services in recent years to become more competitive in the digital sector.
HNA Cloud Market, a new platform HNA Group unveiled last year, provides one-stop services for clients by gathering mainstream cloud vendors both at home and abroad. Some 22 companies, among them US software giant Microsoft Corp. and China's tech titans Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. and Huawei Technologies Co., have signed up with the platform.
