(Yicai Global) April 2 -- Richard Liu, founder and chairman of Chinese e-commerce behemoth JD.Com, has donated 50 ventilators, 5 million face masks and over 600,000 sets of protective clothing, goggles and medical gloves to the United Kingdom in order to help fight Covid-19.

The first batch of resources should arrive in the UK on April 7, Sina Tech reported today. Students and overseas Chinese in the UK will be able to get their hands on the masks for free via the JD mobile app between 10 a.m. on April and 12 midnight on April 12, the report added.

The UK government had reported 2,352 coronavirus deaths as of yesterday, of a confirmed 29,474 cases.
