(Yicai Global) March 23 – Beijing-based Jihua Group Corp. will work with Wuhan Textile University to set up a cooperative research institution in the university to research and develop special protective garments, such as professional and emergency rescue suits, and research functional and new fiber materials.

The company inked the cooperative agreement with the university in Wuhan, the capital of China's east-central Hubei province, yesterday, the military clothes supplier stated that same day. The two will jointly build the Jihua-Wuhan Textile University Technology Research Center and conduct in-depth cooperation in the two major directions of design and materials. They will also develop flame-retardant, anti-static, insulated, radiation-resistant and other special-function materials while providing professional and high-quality testing services.
