(Yicai Global) Sept. 28 -- Chinese bike-sharing operator Beijing Mobike Technology Co. established a strategic partnership with car-hailing operator Shouqi Limousine & Chauffeur, enabling users to directly enter the ride-hailing interface through the latest version of the Mobike app, Jiemian.com reported.

As the first step in their cooperation, the latest installment of the Mobike app will add Shouqi Limousine & Chauffeur offerings, making it possible for users to use car-hailing functions and view vehicle information such as location and route without switching apps.

Mobike users will be able to pay for hailed car trips using a Mobike account balance or WeChat Pay.

Shouqi Group Co., a subsidiary of the Beijing Municipal Government, is Shouqi Limousine & Chauffeur's major shareholder. It has ride-hailing business qualifications in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and 20 other cities and has a leading position in the industry in terms of the number of car-hailing licenses held.
