(Yicai Global) Nov. 24 -- Guangdong-based new-energy vehicle maker Zhuhai Yinlong New Energy Co.'s two planned industrial parks will enter operation by the end of this year, taking the firm's total number of suck parks to five, Securities Times quoted a company official as saying at a lithium battery and new energy industry summit in Shenzhen yesterday.

The two new parks will be in the northern municipality of Tianjin and the southwestern city of Chengdu in Sichuan province. Yinlong's existing parks are in Handan and Shijiazhuang in Hebei province and Zhuhai in Guangdong. It also has a sales, research and development base in Nevada, US.

The firm plans to build another two industrial parks in Lanzhou, capital of China's northwestern Gansu province, and Nanjing in the eastern province of Jiangsu. These are currently under construction and set for completion within the next two years.

Founded in 2009, Yinlong New Energy researches, develops and produces lithium batteries and new-energy vehicles. It received investments totaling CNY3 billion (USD455.7 million) in December last year from four companies, including real estate giant Dalian Wanda Group Co. and China's well-known female entrepreneur Dong Mingzhu, chair of Gree Electric Appliances Inc. of Zhuhai [SHE:000651].
