(Yicai Global) March 10 -- Shanghai logged no new cases of the novel coronavirus Covid-19 yesterday, marking two days on the trot in which the eastern metropolis' case total stood at 342, the city's health commission announced this morning.

A two-year-old boy has fully recovered and was discharged from the Children's Hospital of Fudan University yesterday, becoming the city's 315th patient to be discharged.

As of yesterday, three patients had died, eight were in a critical state, and 16 were in stable condition, according to the commission. 

The city has cleared 2,543 suspected cases and another 30 are undergoing further tests.
