(Yicai Global) April 22 -- A storage facility caught fire in the port city of Dalian in Northeast China's Liaoning province last night, but apparently inflicted no casualties.

The flames, which are now under control, have consumed about 400 square meters, city officials announced on China's Twitter-like Weibo today, adding the facility stored wooden boards, paint and bricks.

Investigation of the cause is pending.
