(Yicai Global) April 10 --  A warehouse has caught fire in the chemicals park that has been closed  due to a blast that killed 78 people last month. No casualties have been  reported so far in the latest incident.

Firefighters extinguished  the blaze at Xiangshui Chemical Park 45 minutes after its ignition at  11.15 a.m. without reporting other environmental hazards in the area,  Yancheng's municipal government posted on its WeChat account.

The eastern Chinese city's  authorities closed the industrial park after Jiangsu Tianjiayi  Chemical's plant in the area exploded on March 21. The province of  Jiangsu is a major hub for factories, including those for pesticides,  dyes and petrochemicals.

More industrial parks for  chemical firms across the province will be shut down, leading to  shortages of supply in certain sectors, as well as impacting prices,  Chinese brokerage Founder Securities reported. Companies will need to  focus more on safety and environmental protection, it added.
