(Yicai Global) Nov. 1 -- The central parity rate of the yuan against the dollar was set at 6.6300, rising for the second day in a row after Monday's three-week nadir of 6.6487.

The China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS), the interbank trading and foreign exchange division of China's central bank, the People's Bank of China (PBOC), set the yuan central parity rate at 6.6300 versus the dollar, as against Tuesday's official close of 6.6272.

The onshore yuan-dollar spot exchange rate was 6.6340 at the close of night trading Tuesday, while the offshore spot exchange rate stood at 6.6368 at 9:23 am on Oct. 30.

The CFETS yuan exchange rate index was 94.90 yesterday, 0.59 percent higher than that at the end of last month, the CFETS also announced early Wednesday.
