(Yicai Global) Oct. 31 -- The central parity rate of the yuan against the greenback was set at 6.6397, 90 basis points higher than Monday's three-week low of 6.6487.

The China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS), the interbank trading and foreign exchange division of China's central bank, the People's Bank of China (PBOC), set the yuan central parity rate at 6.63977 against the dollar, as against Monday's official close of 6.6476.

The onshore spot exchange rate of the yuan against the dollar was 6.6460 at the close of night trading Monday, while the offshore spot exchange rate was 6.6372 at 9.20am Tuesday.
