(Yicai Global) Dec. 25 -- The People's Bank of China withdrew CNY50 billion (USD7.1 billion) from the monetary system via open market operations this morning.

The central bank did not conduct any new OMOs while CNY50 billion worth of reverse repos matured, saying in a statement that there was ample liquidity in the banking system already.
