(Yicai Global) Oct. 25 -- Beijing Zhanjob Network Technology Co.'s recruitment platform Zhanjob.com has raised nearly USD1.5 million (CNY10 million) in its series pre-A round of financing. It will use the funds to research and develop technology and promote customer fulfillment, 36Kr reported today.

Traditional recruitment consultants manage human resources with labor-intensive methods using inefficient database management software or Excel. With SaaS (Software as a Service), Zhanjob combines industry data patterns and algorithms with artificial intelligence, searches for appropriate candidates with the aid of AI and big data, and predicts turnover based on candidate dynamics, online interactions and other information.

It can pick out the resumes of some of the most motivated candidates and provide suggestions to recruitment consultants. With Zhanjob, the recruitment professionals can focus on communication and candidate selection, rather than manually screening resumes.

Zhanjob introduced its comprehensive SaaS solutions in May to improve efficiency, said Zhanjob Chief Executive Zhao Weiguang. Finding the right applicant for a job traditionally took about a month, and Zhanjob can cut that time in half, Zhao said. Headhunters can receive three times the number of resumes and double their efficiency using the platform, said Zhao.

Some 700 or 800 companies have registered with Zhanjob, and 300 recruitment consultants using it made more than CNY1 million in commissions. Zhanjob helps recruitment service companies process 5,000 resumes per day. It has cooperated with half of China's 20 largest recruitment firms and aims to continue improving the application of technology in the industry, pass on operation and management experience, organize community activities and help users increase operational efficiency.
