(Yicai Global) Sept. 11 -- China's Science Sun Pharmaceutical will join hands with Canadian medical technology startup Curiato to promote the latter's products, including an artificial intelligence platform used to prevent bedsores, in China. 

Science Sun will invest USD5 million in Curiato to hold no more than a 20 percent stake and the pair will establish a joint venture in China, the Beijing-based firm said in a statement today.

Founded in 2016, the Ontario-based startup has raised CAD36,000 (USD27,370) in two rounds before this, according to Crunchbase.
