(Yicai Global) Nov. 22 -- China's major mainland stock indexes all closed lower at lunch after opening higher, with the large-cap heavy Shanghai Composite Index ending the morning at an almost 12 week low.

The Shanghai benchmark broke for lunch down 0.59 percent at 2,886.47, a level not seen since Sept. 2, while the Shenzhen Component Index closed the morning down 1.26 percent at 9,651.72. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks Shenzhen-listed growth stocks, hit the break some 1.47 percent lower at 1,688.07.
