(Yicai Global) Feb. 11 -- Shanghai has confirmed another three new cases of the novel coronavirus as of yesterday, bringing the total to 302, the Shanghai Health Commission announced this morning.

Among the total, one has died, 20 remain in a critical state, 48 are fully recovered and have been discharged from hospital, and 233 are in stable condition.

The patients are aged between seven months and 88 years of age and include 158 men and 144 women.

Some 143 have lived in or visited Hubei province, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, 132 have had close contact with other patients, and 24 have lived in or visited other provinces or regions. Three patients are under epidemiological Investigation to trace the origins, the health commission said.

As of yesterday, 1,186 suspected cases have been cleared and 180 suspected cases are still undergoing further tests.
