(Yicai Global) Jan. 19 – Smart video and image service provider Extreme Vision obtained tens of millions of yuan in its Series-A+ financing. The funds will mainly go to iterating existing products and promoting the algorithm customization platform of cvmart.net, the firm's PaaS cloud service platform. China Resources Innovation Equity Investment Fund led this funding round, followed by Central China International Capital Ltd. and Shenzhen Pusu Capital Management. Ltd.
Extreme Vision, a cloud service provider specializing in intelligent analysis of videos and images, is currently shifting from a mere computer vision company to a business intelligence (BI) company. Focusing on computer vision algorithm, the firm is building cvmart.net, the PaaS cloud service platform. Its goal is to provide image recognition algorithm support and customized development services for various sectors and start its AI Industry Partner program.
Extreme Vision is currently cooperating with China Resources Power, which is affiliated to one investor in this financing cycle. The smart safety regulatory system developed by both parties already operates in several power plants, and the application of artificial intelligence in the power sector will further deepen in future.
