(Yicai Global) May 28 -- Shares of suppliers to Tesla rose as high as they could today after the Chinese arm of the California-headquartered firm hinted that bookings of its China-made Model 3s may start this month.

Stampings firm VT Industrial Technology's stock price [SHE: 300707] advanced by the daily limit of 10 percent to CNY14.9 (USD2.20). That of Wencan Die Casting [SHA: 603348] did the same to close at CNY20.2. Tianjin Motor Dies's [SHE: 002510] shares rose to CNY4.4.

Tesla China suggested on its Weibo account that people should stay tuned for May 31 and posted a competition about guessing the pricing of Model 3.
