(Yicai Global) April 9 -- American electric vehicle giant Tesla is still aiming to make 150,000 cars at its Shanghai gigafactory this year despite the Covid-19 pandemic, said Tao Lin, vice president of external affairs at Tesla China.
The plant, which makes Model 3 and Model Y cars, resumed production on Feb. 10 after closing due to the virus, and is currently the only Tesla plant running as normal.
