Tibet Is China's Only Provincial-Level Region to Log GDP Growth in First Quarter(Yicai Global) April 29 -- China's Tibet Autonomous Region has posted a 1 percent growth in its gross domestic product for the first quarter, making it the only provincial-level region in the country to log expansion for the period.
GDP tallied CN38.5 billion (USD5.4 billion), the regional government said today. The 30 other Chinese provincial-level regions all posted declines.
