(Yicai) Aug. 11 -- VIV Select China 2026, an international livestock industry trade show, will reach a record scale when it runs concurrently with Pet Fair Asia in Shanghai for the first time.

After last year's edition in Nanjing, VIV Select China will take place at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from Aug. 19 to 21, with a record 550 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions and a record 50,000 square meters of exhibition space, Yicai learned from the event organizer.

The event, which showcases products and technologies across the livestock industry, will feature exhibitors from countries including the Netherlands, the United States, Denmark, Brazil, South Korea, Malaysia, and India.

International visitor pre-registration has jumped 56 percent from a year earlier, with attendees from 111 countries and regions signing up, including those from Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North and South America, as well as countries and regions along the Belt and Road, China’s global infrastructure and trade initiative.

More than 20 domestic and international industry organizations will also participate in the event.
