(Yicai Global) June 14 -- Vodafone will put into operation a fifth-generation communications network covering 15 cities in Spain from tomorrow using Huawei equipment, state broadcaster CCTV reported.

The cities reportedly include Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, and Vodafone will be the first 5G network operator in  Spain. Spain becomes the third European country after Switzerland and the United Kingdom to run commercial 5G services.
