(Yicai Global) June 11 -- Xiaomi repurchased about 5.25 million B-class shares yesterday, marking the fourth repurchase since June 3, according to a statement.
As of June 10, Xiaomi has purchased a total of 49.25 million B-shares, costing about HKD450 million (USD57.4 million) with an average buy-back price of HKD9.14 per share.
Xiaomi made the move to demonstrate the company's confidence in business development and prospects and ultimately aims to bring benefits to the company and create value for shareholders.
Xiaomi's stock price [HKG:1810] closed at HKG9.53 yesterday, 44% lower than its listing price of HKD17.
