(Yicai Global) Dec. 11 -- Chinese electric carmaker Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Technology will cooperate with NIO Power Technology in the charging business, Xiaopeng announced today.

It and NIO Power will connect each other's nationwide network of charging piles and their payment processes, online media 36kr reported. Owners of either of the two companies' cars will be able to use both of their charging stations all across the country.

NIO Power will also join Xiaopeng's home charger supplier system to provide private charger post installation services for Xiaopeng brand owners.
