(Yicai Global) Sept. 27 -- The government of the Xiongan New Area's first staff recruitment program to hire 23 intermediate and advanced-level technical professionals.

 Positions are open to eligible candidates from all over the country.

 A third-party recruitment agency the government retained, Chengtong Human Resources Co., has received resumes from as many as 4,123 applicants, China Economic Weekly reported.

 Of the 17 positions offered by China Xiong Construction Investment Group Co., an affiliate to the Hebei province government, infrastructure construction, financing and public relations management positions attracted the largest numbers of applications.

 Applicants hail from 27 provinces. Most live in nearby cities and provinces like Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, but the posting also attracted candidates from Canada, Japan, Iran and Hong Kong, the article cited Xiao Yin, Chengtong Human Resources firm's general manager, as saying.

 The company shortlisted 352 applicants to undergo a written examination. A panel of experts from the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, provincial party committee organization departments, research institutes and state-owned construction enterprises graded it, and selected 121 candidates to attend job interviews. The interviews are now complete, and successful applicants will be announced later this month.
