(Yicai Global) Sept. 28 -- Yuan trade made up 1.94 percent of all transactions made through the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, or SWIFT, last month, according to the transaction provider's latest data.
The figure ends a three-month climb that peaked in July at 2 percent, the highest share since last November.
The Chinese currency remained the fifth-most traded in August, ahead of the Canadian dollar at 1.8 percent. The US dollar recovered from a drop to 39.8 percent in July by rising to 40.7 percent last month.
