Founder Wang Xingxing made his first public speech after Unitree Robotics’ IPO at the World Robot Conference 2026 today, estimating embodied intelligence could reach its “ChatGPT moment” in two to three years, or maybe five to 10 years. This would mean that robots could complete about 80% of tasks in 80% of unfamiliar scenarios via voice or text commands, he noted, adding that the key challenge is to connect AI models with physical robots.
