Z.AI rolled out a compensation plan for ZCode users yesterday, offering paid and returning users four weekly quota-reset cards and four five-hour quota-reset cards, valid for one month, following controversy over data uploads through the AI coding tool. The Chinese AI startup said it has since fully removed the repository upload pathway and verified the deletion of all related cloud data.
