13.8% More Visits to South Korea Last Month Kept China Largest Source(Yicai Global) March 21 -- The week-long Spring Festival holiday last month cemented China's position as the largest source of travelers to South Korea, Yonhap News Agency reported today.
Some 1,077,900 foreigners visited South Korea in February, up 10.2 percent per month, with 367,000 from China's mainland, up 13.8 percent monthly, figures from the nation's immigration agency show.
By number of foreign travelers to the country, China's mainland ranked top, followed by Japan, Taiwan and the US.
Some 2,327,300 South Koreans traveled abroad during the same period, up 3.5 percent annually.
