(Yicai Global) Aug. 30 -- Mobile internet provider Bewinner Communications has reached a deal with UK software developer Playdemic to operate mobile game Golf Clash in China's mainland market.
Bewinner signed a license and operating agreement on Golf Clash with Playdemic, which is affiliated to US video game producer Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the Beijing-based firm said in a statement yesterday. The Wilmslow-based company's product is a freemium mobile game which involves a digital version of playing golf.
Gamecomb, which is Bewinner's game publishing platform, takes charge of releasing Golf Clash through local channels and its online operations, as well as deals with marketing, quality testing, operation, maintenance, and customer service. Profits will be distributed between the content provider, the operator, and the distributor in proportion, Bewinner added, without disclosing other financial details.
Founded in 1997, Bewinner has local license contracts regarding mobile games such as SimCity BuildIt, Candy Crush Soda Saga, Angry Birds Action! and Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars.
