(Yicai Global) April 9 -- China's BGI Genomics has penned a deal with the Serbian government to build two laboratories in the capital city of Belgrade and the southern city of Nis with a total capacity of conducting 3,000 Covid-19 tests per day, The Paper reported today.

The Shenzhen-based gene giant has constructed similar labs in more than 10 Chinese cities since February, and is promoting cooperation with a dozen of countries and international partners to build more labs overseas.
