China's Dhc Rallies on Software Deal With Huawei China's Dhc Rallies on Software Deal With Huawei

(Yicai Global) June 12 -- Shares of Dhc Software jumped after the Chinese tech company said that it will work with Huawei Technologies on server products.

Dhc's stock price [SZE:002065] rose by 4.8 percent to CNY11.66 (USD1.65) this afternoon after China's main stock benchmarks had opened lower this morning. Its market cap was at CNY34.7 billion (USD4.9 billion).

The tech firm will offer supporting software and value-added services for server products based on the Huawei Kunpeng processor, and sell the product to consumers, the Beijing-based company said in a statement yesterday. The deal will end on May 18, 2021.

Kunpeng chips, made by the Shenzhen-based leading global communications equipment maker, contain high technology and have many uses so the non-exclusive agreement will help Dhc to expand its server products market and improve its competitiveness, the partner added.
