(Yicai Global) Oct. 20 -- Beijing-based DHC Software Co. [SHE:002065] plans to invest CNY200 million (USD30.2 million) in a new software research and development company in Xiong'an New Area, located in northern China's Hebei province, the company said in a press briefing yesterday.

The firm will develop products covering the healthcare, education and financial services sectors, among others.

The company has gained industry experience in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, Big Data and financial technology, the software firm said, adding that the new company will look to expand into Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province.

DHC Software, founded in 2001, now has more than 60 branches and employs more than 8,000 people. It has provided software information system solutions for thousands of users and has 60 independent intellectual property rights.
