China's Food Group Releases the First Full List of Chinese Dishes

(Yicai Global) Nov. 7 -- China's national guild of catering industry has published a collection of over 300 provincial delicacies to help professional chefs and home cooks worldwide to discover the plethora of Chinese cuisine.

The China Cuisine Association released the China Cuisine List -- Chinese Provincial Classics and Banquets, which includes 34 regional cooking styles, 340 local dishes and 273 themed dinner menus, such as the Luoyang Soup Feast, the G20 State Banquet, and the Manchu Han Imperial Feast.

The dishes that come from the country's various regional cuisines, such as lamb-loving Xinjiang, dumpling-happy Beijing, and spicy Sichuan, involve a wide range of ingredients from veggies to seafood and meats, and suggest 20 cooking styles including roasting, boiling, braising, stewing, stir-frying, and deep-frying.
