(Yicai Global) Nov. 4 -- Chinese stocks closed higher following the lead of technology and insurance shares, which bubbled up over 2 percent to float on top.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed up 0.75 percent higher at 2,980.43 at the lunch break. The Shenzhen Component Index rose to 9,899.47 in a 0.99 percent gain, while the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks Shenzhen's growth enterprises, climbed 1.11 percent to 1,705.60.
