(Yicai Global) Jan. 15 -- The sales revenue of China's mobile game market reached almost CNY134 billion (USD20 billion) at a growth rate of over 15 percent, which is the lowest annual grow since reliable records began to be kept in 2008.
The number of users of mobile games in China hit 605 million, increasing 9.2 percent annually last year, the 2018 China Mobile Game Report released by the Beijing-based Game Publishing Commission and market analytics firm CNG today shows.
China's domestic mobile online games overseas market sales revenue reached nearly USD7 billion, an increase of 23 percent per year, which indicates their entry into a stable growth stage.
Overseas markets have thus become an important sales platform for China's game makers.
