(Yicai Global) July 15 -- China's natural gas production increased 10.3 percent annually to 86.4 billion cubic meters in the first half, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics today.

The country made some 13.9 billion cubic meters in June, up 13.1 percent, the figures show.
 

China's Administration of Customs said on July 12 that the nation also imported 46.9 million tons (65.2 billion cubic meters) of natural gas in the first six months, up 11.6 percent. June's figure was up 3 percent at 7.52 million tons.
