(Yicai Global) May 15 -- China's natural gas production widened by 10.3 percent to 64.4 billion cubic meters in the first four months of this year from a year earlier, according to official data.

In April, natural gas output expanded by 14.3 percent to 16.1 billion cbms from a year ago, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics today show.

China imported 32.3 million tons of natural gas in the first four months of the year, up 1.5 percent from a year ago.
