(Yicai Global) April 16 -- China's Sanxing Medical Electric has won two contracts to supply electric meters to energy companies in Brazil and Colombia, which should make it gain CNY179 million (USD25.3 million).

Sanxing's Brazilian unit will provide Neoenergia with BRL55.7 million (USD10.6 million) worth of equipment from 2020 to 2022, the Ningbo-based firm said in a statement today. It has also penned a deal with Union Temporal Ami Caribe about USD14.5 million worth of smart meters and other equipment to be delivered from 2020 to 2023.

Sanxing's shares [SHA:601567] climbed 2 percent to CNY8.07 (USD1.10) in the afternoon.
