(Yicai Global) March 12 -- China has dispatched a team of seven medical experts, including members of the Red Cross Society China and the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, to Italy to help the European Covid-19 epicenter to deal with the pandemic that has claimed 827 lives in the country as of yesterday.

Southwestern China's Sichuan University was sending off three staff members, two from the university-affiliated West China Hospital and one from the foreign languages department, to share knowledge about the disease that was first detected in Central China.

A medical worker from West China Hospital was saying bye to his colleagues. 

The outbreak has no borders, West China Hospital's Liang Zongan told local media. After arriving in Italy, he said that he would try to understand the local epidemic situation and cooperate with his Italian peers.
