(Yicai Global) Nov. 13 -- Chinese stock markets closed mixed at noon. The ChiNext and Smart Market rose on technology shares, while financial shares dragged the mainboard lower.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,313.75 at the lunch break, down 0.75 percent, while the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.15 percent to 13,770.89.

The Star 50 Index, which tracks tech stocks on Shanghai’s Nasdaq-style Star Market, rose 1.56 percent to 1,435.27, while the Shenzhen market’s growth enterprise ChiNext Price Index added 0.51 percent to 2,714.28.

Financial shares led the losers. Insurance tumbled 2.67 percent, while banks dropped 1.37 percent.
