(Yicai Global) Nov. 29 -- Chinese stock markets closed lower, but the ChiNext recovered some of the ground it lost in earlier trading.

The Shanghai Composite Index slid 0.61 percent to 2,871.98. The Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.42 percent to 9,582.16. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks Shenzhen-listed growth enterprises, dropped 0.53 percent to 1,664.90 after having fallen up to 1.5 percent.
