(Yicai Global) June 15 -- Chinese stock markets closed mixed today, with only the startup-heavy ChiNext board finishing the day higher.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed 1.02 percent lower at 2,890.03, while the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.53 percent to 11,192.27. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, rose 0.58 percent to 2,219.55.
