(Yicai Global) Nov. 4 -- Chinese stock markets opened higher today and digital currency shares led the rise, bobbing up over 2 percent by 9:50 a.m.
The Shanghai Composite Index started off 0.22 percent higher at 2,964.58. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.27 percent to 9,828.60 at the starting gun, while the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, gained 0.15 percent after the bell, climbing to 1,689.58.
